Under his leadership, Simply Secure has remained committed to a clear mission: to protect what matters most — people, data, and infrastructure. Experienced in leading incident response teams to contain ransomware and other cyber breaches. Focused in taking learnings from real life IT security failings to provide organizations with tangible steps to close vulnerabilities and gaps in their cybersecurity. For example, I shamelessly advocate for the removal of traditional antivirus in favor of machine learning, AI driven endpoint detection and response (EDR) solutions.

Jon Raper
Chief Technology Officer

Jon Raper is a proven cybersecurity leader whose career began with the U.S. Secret Service, where he investigated complex network intrusions and provided protection to world leaders. This foundation in federal law enforcement gave him a unique perspective on both the technical and human dimensions of security, shaping the way he approaches risk, resilience, and leadership in the digital age.

He went on to lead security operations at some of the world’s largest enterprises, including Walmart, Oracle, and Costco Wholesale, where he advanced to the role of Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). Across these organizations, Jon built and managed data loss prevention, cyber intelligence, and incident response programs, overseeing global teams and securing over 400,000 on-premise and cloud-based systems. His ability to establish 24×7 security operations centers and design enterprise-wide defense strategies positioned him as a trusted leader in protecting complex, high-value environments.

Today, Jon has transitioned to Chevron as its Chief Information Security Officer, where he continues to build on his legacy of leadership by driving cybersecurity strategy for one of the world’s largest energy companies. He also serves on the Board of Simply Secure Group, applying his cross-sector experience to guide strategy and innovation. Karmena Haye
Chief Cyber Security Assessor

Karmena Haye is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with more than 13 years of experience strengthening the security posture of organizations across multiple industries. She currently serves as Chief Cybersecurity Assessor at Simply Secure Group, where she leads risk assessments, technical evaluations, and the development of robust security operations to help clients safeguard their most critical assets. Her career reflects deep expertise in building out security programs, managing operations, and ensuring compliance in dynamic environments.

Karmena’s journey spans progressive roles in information security, operations, and leadership, including positions where she managed security operations centers, served as a CISO, and directed enterprise-wide IT security strategies. She holds certifications such as NVQ-J Certified Information Security Manager Level 6 and ITIL Foundation v3, and combines technical acumen with a practical approach to risk management. Proficient in both English and Spanish, she brings global perspective and adaptability to her work in today’s evolving threat landscape.

In addition to her customer-facing expertise, Lisa also leads Human Resources, guiding people strategies that align culture, talent, and performance with organizational goals.

Most recently, I served as Managed Security Product Manager B2B at Liberty Latin America, leading the design and delivery of security solutions that protect enterprise customers and enable digital growth.

Previously, I supported Cisco through channel sales roles at N3 and MarketStar, and earlier worked as a Telecom Engineer at GBM (IBM alliance), specializing in Cisco networking, wireless, and security implementations. With a strong mix of technical expertise and commercial acumen, I bridge the gap between technology and business to deliver secure, scalable, and market-ready solutions.

With hands-on expertise spanning Cisco, Fortinet, Dell, Sophos, cloud platforms, VPN technologies, Security-as-a-Service, Active Directory, and digital forensics, Terike brings a comprehensive perspective to modern cybersecurity challenges.
